Installation
Warning: Bitcoin mining on CPU or GPU can damage your computer and puts a high strain on components used for mining. Make sure you know what you're doing. I take no responsibility for any damage to your posessions. Installing fan control software like smcfancontrol and revving up the fans is recommended, as is monitoring your temperatures.
MacMiner supports Mac OS 10.7 and newer, although some GPU mining features require mac OS 10.11+ and there is a legacy version supporting Mac OS 10.6. You can check your operating system here:

You can download MacMiner at the homepage, /macminer/.
Decompress the .zip file if your browser doesn't do it for you and move MacMiner.app to your Applications folder. MacMiner is now installed and you can move on to Basic Usage
